Privacy Policy

• Account: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).

• Learner profile (optional, provided by you): display name, location, profession, hobbies, interests, and your learning goal. These are used solely to personalise the lessons the AI generates for you.

• Learning data: the cards, decks, reviews, conversations, writing submissions and progress you create as you study.

• First-party usage events: anonymous counts (e.g. page views, sign-ups) we record ourselves to understand the funnel. No third-party analytics SDK is used.

• No advertising and no ad networks. • No selling or renting of personal data. • No third-party behavioural trackers or fingerprinting. • No reading of your learning content for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

We use a single, essential, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for tracking or advertising. There are no marketing or analytics cookies.

To generate lessons, conversations and feedback, the text of your prompt and relevant profile context is sent to our AI inference provider (see Subprocessors). It is used only to produce your response and is not used to train third-party models.

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service:

• Vercel Inc. — application hosting and content delivery.

• Neon Inc. — managed PostgreSQL database (your account and learning data).

• Groq Inc. — AI model inference for generation, conversation and feedback.

Data may be processed in the United States by these providers. We keep this list current; material changes will be reflected here.

You can request a full export of your data or permanent deletion of your account and all associated learning data at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, decks, reviews and submissions from our database. Contact us at privacy@language-ninja.app.

Where a teacher uses the Classroom features, the teacher is responsible for obtaining any consent required by their institution. We do not show ads to any user, including students. See the Security page for safeguards.
